NICK'S INTERVIEW

How did you find your passion for the Ocean?

I've always been a waterman and grew up messing around on sailing boats and windsurfers. As soon as MARGEN co-founder Franck introduced me to outrigger in 2015 I was hooked. I’ve been paddling non-stop ever since. There's no better feeling than being out on the ocean chasing surf with my teammates in Hong Kong's amazing scenery.

What does your ideal day look like?

Hong Kong has a competitive race scene and race days are always a highlight for me. A long downwind race with my mates (and ideally a win!) followed by BBQ and beers back at the club can't be beaten.

What do you do when you are not on the water?

I like running up mountains and eating oversized portions of delicious Asian food.
